What Is Organizing Her Business Systems and Technology Podcast about?
Well, my tag line is Gain Control of Your Business and Gain Control of Your Life. Organize your business systems and technology to streamline your business and spend more time where it matters.
And that’s basically it. I don’t know about you, but I’ve actually been trying to get a business up and running for years now. I’ve tried eight million different things, but we’ll go over that, me, in the next episode.
Part of the issues that I’ve had is there are so many things when it comes to running a business. It would be great if it was just… I have this thing. And I need to sell it, like it’s a service or a product or whatever.
But there’s so much other stuff that you need to know to run a business, especially an online business.
There’s email that you have to send out. And funnels that you have to do. And bookkeeping. And social media that you’re supposed to be on. Just all these different things that if you don’t have a way to keep it organized… when you’re not in your business, your mind is still in your business.
I don’t know about you, but I know, the more I’ve organized my business, the more time I have that I’m with my family when I’m with my family. And that’s the important thing to me. And I’m pretty sure that’s the important thing to you. Otherwise, you wouldn’t be listening to this podcast.
So that’s basically what this podcast is going to be about. It’s organizing your business systems so all the things that you need to run a business… even like bookkeeping, whatever.
Making a checklist. I have a giant checklist just for doing this podcast to make sure I remember all the things. But that way it’s out of my head. I don’t have to worry about it when I’m making the podcast. I’ve got all the things on the list. I know I can always refer to the list.
And then organizing your business technology, there’s so much when it comes to the technology, now, to run a business.
Back when my dad had his business, it was a little bit on computers because he was a computer person. But back in the ’80s, people were still doing stuff on pen and paper.
Now everything is technology. All your bookkeeping systems. You’ve got the social media stuff. You’ve got your funnels. You’ve got your email marketing. The list goes on and on.
But if we can get all that stuff organized so it’s not staying in your brain all the time… getting it out of your brain. That way you’ve got more time for the things that matter.
Now one of the other things I’ve noticed about the tech aspects of running a business… a lot of programs that you can take that tell you how to get a business up and running, they tell you the tech that you should have. But then they leave it to you to figure out how to use it. And how to get it to work.
Or sometimes they give you so many choices. But they don’t tell you how to figure out which choice is the right one for you. Or even how the different technologies work together or don’t work together. And so you’ve got all these things that you’re using because you’ve been told to use them. But you have no idea how to even put them together to make them work correctly.
Then we’ll go over the new technology that’s coming out. And updates for the technology that you’re already using.
If you combine the two, in this podcast, we’re going to learn how to build systems for your business to make it work more smoothly. And then we’re also going to learn how to build the systems to use the different technology that you have in your business, so it all works together like clockwork. Works really well.
I’m going to be having two episodes a week. On Tuesdays, I’m going to release a Tech Tip Tuesday, which is something really simple. It’s probably going to be pretty quick, maybe five to ten minutes tops. It’s just going to be some new tech find or something that I think is just really amazing that you can use in your business or in your personal life. And how to integrate it really easily. So those are going to be really quick.
The regular podcast is going to be released on Thursday. That’s basically going to be everything else. So any kind of marketing you need for your business. Other technology. Actual business stuff. All that kind of stuff. That’s going to be captured in the main podcast episode on Thursdays.
Also probably some books that I’m reading that are awesome. And possibly some mom stuff, because to be honest, I’m a mom. I know most of my listeners are moms.
And even organizing that stuff helps with running our lives. Just to know it’s done. It’s ready to go. We don’t have to worry about it, because let’s face it, probably for you as it is for me, the most important thing is my family. And especially my kids,. And of course my husband too.
But I want to be there when I’m with them. I don’t want to be thinking about all this other stuff.
And to be quite honest, I’m new to this podcasting thing, so I’m not super comfortable yet, which I don’t know if you can tell on this. But as I get more comfortable with recording these things, I’m going to be sharing more of myself, so I’ll probably be sharing a few mom moments here and there, stuff that’s part of my life. Hopefully stuff that can help you.
Hopefully we can get to know each other through this process because I love people. And I like to get to know people.
So speaking of, if you have any suggestions for anything for this podcast, anything that you want to know, learn about, ideas that you think will work well, you can just email me at Tia@Tiahain.com.
That’s T-I-A, the at symbol, T-I-A-H-A-I-N dot com, so for some reason our last name, Hain, is spelled differently than most people think it is. But it rhymes and looks like rain, only an H.
That tells you what this podcast is all about.
Who Is Organizing Her Business Systems and Technology Podcast for?
Now who is it for? There is something kind of obvious where in the title it says Her. I like helping female entrepreneurs.
I am a female entrepreneur, so that kind of shifts my focus towards women. But I have found that over the years when I have been helping a lot of people with their technology, I end up helping a lot of women. Maybe because they feel more comfortable with a woman.
But I want to help the female entrepreneur. I want to help raise up other entrepreneurs more like myself… moms raising a family, running a household and running a business. Once again, that’s who I am, so that’s who I want to help.
And maybe you don’t have kids. Or maybe your kids are grown and out of the house.
Because to tell you the truth, I’m an older mom. So most of the people I know that are my age, their kids are already grown. Some are out of the house, some are not.
But they’re also at this point in their lives where they want to do something more. They want to start a business. Or they’ve got a business going. But they want to make it more streamlined. Those are the people that I think that this is for.
Now we may get some men listening to this show. I don’t know if these things help them. It’s up to you guys. Whoever else wants to listen, please feel free. But that’s mainly who this podcast is for.
So that’s it. That is what is this podcast and who is it for? Organizing Her Business Systems and Technology.
